504 Loan Success Feature: Joe Simpson Plumbing Joe Simpson launched his home-based plumbing business, Joe Simpson Plumbing LLC, in 2020 after working in the industry for over 14 years. Joe took an interest in the trade at the age of 20 and never looked back. Today, Joe provides a variety of plumbing services and covers all of Litchfield County, CT. With consistent growth year over year, Joe needed to move the business from his home to a larger facility where he could continue to expand and hire additional employees. After finding the perfect location in his hometown, Joe partnered with Matthew Mihalcik of Newtown Savings Bank and CIC's Richard Evans and utilized the U.S. Small Business Administration 504 loan program to acquire the property. This acquisition was critical for Joe—the SBA 504 loan program proved to be the right choice for Joe and his growing enterprise!
