Not only is Bing a respected figure in the business world but he is also known for his philanthropic endeavors. His commitment to giving back to the Greater Connecticut Area, contributing to the diverse nature of the area's business environment, and making a positive impact inspires all who have had the privilege of working alongside him.   Bing's leadership has been pivotal in Modern Plastics' growth. During the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, he and his team worked tirelessly to partner with the medical community to mass produce face shields to protect healthcare workers and assist other critical businesses to remain open. Under his guidance, the company became the first plastics distribution company in the United States to earn an ISO 9001:2000 Certification, a testament to his unwavering commitment to quality and excellence. The company's subsequent certifications of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016, along with pending AS9100 and AS9120 certifications, further demonstrate Modern Plastics' dedication to maintaining the highest standards in the industry.   In 2006, the acquisition of Modern Plastics by North American Plastics proved to be a transformative decision. Bing's vision and expertise, combined with the resources and market power of the industry leader's decentralized business model, enabled Modern Plastics to thrive and reach new levels of success.
