&lt;br /&gt;
In both speaking and her own writing, she focuses on presenting the power of perspective as a tool of awareness and personal growth. As a ghostwriter, she consults with and writes for professionals who wish to add a book to their list of accomplishments.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Her first book, Waking Up with Nora, is a memoir of self-discovery and personal transformation in grandparenting her special needs granddaughter. All proceeds from the book go to helping special needs children. In 2018, her speech about special needs caregiving, delivered to an international audience, won her a Connecticut and a National Press Club award.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

The WIN members host &amp;quot;Headshots at SchmoozaPalooza&amp;quot; and &amp;quot;WINGO&amp;quot; as fundraisers to support this grant and their fund with the Valley Community Foundation. Since the Grant was created $49,950 has been distributed to 54 women-owned businesses in the #ValleyCT. They also have a named fund through the Valley Community Foundation.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
